Elephant Super Car Wash Ornament

A handmade, ornament-sized tribute to Seattle’s beloved Elephant Super Car Wash sign, which was permanently removed from it’s longtime home on Denny Way in November of this year. The sign was designed by Beatrice Haverfield, Seattle’s “queen of neon, ” who was also the designer behind several other iconic 1950’s Seattle signs: Dick’s Drive-In, Ivar’s, and the downtown Cinerama, to name a few.
Dimensions: approx. 3” tall x 3.75” wide.
Materials: porcelain, wire, and string.
